Hi!

So, there's been a book sale for a little while at my local college. The books are actually pretty cheap at about $.25 a book, so I was wondering if anyone wanted any books that fit the description in the subject (textbooks, old magazines, any sort of older book that might be discarded from a college library). I plan on making a list and searching for you guys, if anyone expresses any interest.

If you see any books related to playing the trumpet, that would be fantastic - collections of sheet music or exercises, for example, or anything like that.

I don't know if they would have mystery books, but if you happen to come across any of The Saint novels by Leslie Charteris that would be amazing.

Anything about queer studies, especially lesbian.

If you find any on literature - specifically modernism or postmodernism - I'd be forever grateful! And anything, anything you could find on literary theory would be absolutely fantastic!

I'm interested in photography books, too, just in case you find multiple copies. Also books on art or graphic design, or anything by Shakespeare or Charles Dickens.

So I'll alter my request slightly and say any books about Margaret Atwood, Salman Rushdie, Milan Kundera, or Slavoj Zizek. Also any books BY Slavoj Zizek.

Books about sci fi or feminist sci fi or ecofeminism would be greatly appreciated, and I'll also mooch collections of essays on modernist or postmodern literature or literary theory if Rebecca doesn't want them :)

There are also a few books on literary theory, including Literary Theory: A Very Short Introduction by Jonathan Culler and Postmodern Narrative Theory by Mark Currie. A couple of Oxford and Cambridge Companions too.

I went a-huntin' earlier today, and I found ... a lot of nothing left, unfortunately (unless you're really into microbiology or teaching theory, in which case you really should have said something!), but there were some. I'll be commenting to the people to whom I can provide some things.
